Activities Department

The Activities Department is staffed 7 days weekly with individuals who are motivators, entertainers, listeners, and able to engage each of our residents in therapeutic activities within their level of cognition and physical function. Creativity, enthusiasm, and delight with life required!

Dietary and Food Services

The Dietary Manager supervises the positions of cooks and dietary aides. Duties include meal preparation, meal service, dish room, food handling and sanitation practices. Shifts are scheduled from pre-breakfast through early evening hours, 7 days a week: weekends and holidays.

Insurance Case Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Position is responsible for communicating and verifying resident and patient insurance information in a timely manner to ensure that claims are paid and processed per the patient’s benefit plan. Organize, coordinate, process and maximize benefits obtained from multiple payer sources. If needed, duties will also include initiating prior authorizations and appeals as necessary to ensure proper payment of services.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform insurance verification of benefits for patients to ensure an understanding of what their insurance company will pay and relay the information to patients and residents upon their arrival and throughout their stay.
Collect information and initiate prior authorizations for admissions and treatment as needed and track for progress, updates, and provide additional information if necessary.
File and monitor appeals on behalf of Rennes Group, Inc. if payments are not made in accordance to the patient’s benefits or prior authorizations.
Complete long term care insurance claim forms and coordinate Medicare documentation and benefits management.
Completes insurance records request for payment of services.
Complete records and reports as needed.
Assists residents and families with insurance/billing related questions.
Meet with resident and families in the Medicaid eligibility/application process as a back-up for social services.
Communicate with insurance case managers on a daily basis via phone, fax and e-mail to obtain further insurance authorization.
Attend morning report meetings on a daily basis.
Input data and participate in weekly Medicare and therapy meetings with interdisciplinary team.
Determine the level of care based off of insurance contracts.
Track liabilities that are owed by both insurance and patient.
Record requests for insurance audits.
Attend patient care conferences as needed related to insurance or payment issues.

Required education:

High school or equivalent

 

Nursing Department

Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses
Certified Nursing Aides
Full time, part time, and on-call available. A variety of shifts and schedules are available to cover 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Social Services

Social Workers require a BSW minimum. Usual working schedule is Monday through Friday but exceptions during evening or weekend hours may require flexibility.
