The Renaissance Assisted Living Positions
The residents at The Renaissance have varying care needs from minimal support to daily assistance with medications, personal hygiene, and ambulation. The caregivers are not required to be Certified Nurse Aides, but applications from CNAs are welcome. Caregivers receive training in medication administration and are responsible for assisting residents with this daily if needed, as well as bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance. Other duties may include light housekeeping in the resident's apartments, laundry, and meal assistance in the central dining areas. Shifts are scheduled around the clock, full and part-time positions are available, weekends and holidays are required.
The residents at The Renaissance enjoy a variety of social gatherings and activities. Outside performers are often invited to entertain and there is an active volunteer program. Trips to the theater, restaurants, and local events are encouraged and transportation is provided. Transportation to shopping, banks, and medical appointments may also be arranged through our activity director.
Flexibility of meal time and response to personal choices are characteristics of meal provision. Breakfast is served over several hours to coordinate with each person's wake up time and multiple choices of entrees are provided. The cook and helpers are scheduled from pre-breakfast through early evening.
