Professional nurses are available around the clock to identify changing health conditions as well as to provide the nursing activities for health maintenance or healing. Caregivers provide bedside assistance with activities of daily living such as grooming, toileting, dining, and ambulation to the degree required by each individual. Whereas service is abundantly and willingly provided, each resident is gently encouraged to utilize their remaining skills and capacities to maintain as much independence as possible. Individualized care planning focuses not only on what capacity has been taken away by illness and aging, but especially on what skills, abilities, and interests remain.

Meals are prepared carefully taking into consideration the resident's eating preferences, the nutritional health of each person, and their therapeutic needs. Activities are encouraged on a daily basis and every staff person coming in contact with the resident is aware of that individual's past interests and involvements. The environment is meticulously maintained. Some facilities offer specialty units for enhanced care of residents with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Rennes Health & Rehab Centers offer outpatient therapy services at all of our locations. The therapy team consists of highly qualified, licensed physical, occupational and speech  therapists.
